Supervision for large installations
A simple internet connection gives access to all the system information. With a physical IP address in PLANTVISOR PRO2, it is possible to set up a connection via Internet Explorer using the address https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/PlantVisorPRO. The online interface, the same one used by the local PLANTVISOR PRO2 user, enables complete configuration of the installation, from the office or any other location. This remote control ensures effective offsite maintenance. The installation is always under your control, and can be managed with clicks of the mouse in any location, without having to go on-site. To control multiple sites remotely, there are special tools dedicated to centralised management, such as RemotePRO and RemoteValue.
Management of units:
All the units forming the installation can be quickly configured, by assigning them to defined groups or zones. All the information can be accessed via summary pages on the installation or detailed pages for each unit.
Management of alarms:
PLANTVISOR PRO2 logs each alarm event which occurs within the installation, supplying information on the type of alarm, the start and end time and date. Management of alarms comprises three phases: firstly, recognition, followed by a phase of programmed actions (for example, sending of e-mails, test messages, faxes, etc.) and lastly the phase where the event is stored. Different levels of importance can also be defined, based on the type of alarm.
PLANTVISOR PRO2 produces detailed reports and diagrams which can be used to monitor a range of data: temperature, operating status, etc. This is key for analysis and diagnostics in the event of a problem with the controlled variables.
The planner is the PLANTVISOR PRO2's most powerful function. A series of actions can be scheduled, according to the time/day, for a certain event or for an alarm. These include: printouts, sending of faxes, e-mails and test messages, changing parameters, activating components, sound effects, etc.
it is also possible to include a PDF or JPG plan of the installation with positioning of the managed units and an LED status: communication OK (green), communication down (grey) and alarm (red). In this way, the user can keep an eye on the installation to ensure everything is under control.
Integrated management of the installation ensures significant energy savings. PLANTVISOR PRO2 offers a series of functions enable the running costs of the installation to be reduced, such as managing lighting, changing night/daytime temperature setpoints, and so on.
Analysis of risks and monitoring critical
PLANTVISOR PRO2 can produce and log lists of temperatures and alarms for all the supervised units.
Management of notes:
This function allows information to be stored and an operating log to be created for the installation. This is very handy for maintenance personnel. Any user can enter their own notes, which will be stored with the user's name, the time and the date.
