Finned pipes

Selection example
Heat loss in the room = 2000 W. Available space for finned pipe = 2 metres. Heating water set at 90/70°C with an average temperature of 80°C. Calculation of the necessary power per metre: 2000W / 2m = 1000W/m Thus, for this example, a TA 71 MEME 2000 and two support feet are needed. The power consumption will be 2 x 1009 W = 2018 W.
Stacked finned pipes
Finned pipes may be stacked and connected together with a 3D 180° elbow. See the centre distance figures in the specifications table. When using stacked finned pipes, multiply the heat generated by the following correction factors:
